It has come to our attention that some malicious individual has no respect for the copyright of our newsletters. A contributor to our site has had his newsletter taken, and altered it to convey an unsubstantiated message to many people.

We are aware of what that content is. However it violates the spirit of the website, where we ask the content be supported with proper citation to checkable references.

This website has been built to provide a service to the residents of Balsall Heath, Sparkhill, Sparkbrook, Moseley, Edgbaston, Selly Oak, Highgate and Ladywood.

It has been designed with the intent that it will provide a platform for news and articles written by locals that may be of interest to the residents and visitors of the areas mentioned above.

The content of this website is dependent on people submitting articles and news to the website with the intention of publication on the site. All submitters should provide all evidence that corroborates their submitted article. We will refuse to be a platform for conspiracy theories and malicious personal written attacks. We will only put up complete journalistic style articles, this platform is not the place to make short comments. Should anyone disagree with any published material then by all means retort with a counter article. We will endeavour to remain impartial as best we can. However this does not mean that contributors can use the site to argue between themselves with articles. There will be some form of editorial control and restraint of contributors.

We will also provide a facility for regular newsletters. The same basic rules that govern the articles will also apply to the newsletters. The intention is that individuals and organisation to provide news from the local areas mentioned will use the newsletters section. Again we reiterate FIGHTBAK.ORG.UK is not a platform for snide comments or unsupported opinions.

Any information provided by a contributor will be treated as detailed in the current DATA PROTECTION ACT.

We are still in the process of putting the website together, so please be patient. In the interest of fairness we will have formal rules and regulations that will be applied to all contributors.
